So I live in this student apartment complex across the street from my college and I have these aweful neighbors. Every single night for the last three weeks they have stomped and paraded and moved their furniture for hours upon hours. Don’t believe me…well Thursday night they moved their furniture and stomped so much that I couldn’t fall asleep until 4 a.m. Then they got up at 8 a.m.! I mean come on…take a chill break. They were up all day clomping around. I couldn’t even concentrate it was so obnoxiously loud. I finally called the leasing manager in our clubhouse and told him everything that has been going on and he put a 7 day notice on their door. This basically states that they are in breach of their leasing contract by making this much noise and that if they do not stop they could ultimately be evicted. So yesterday it goes on their door, but does the noise stop…NO! I went out and stayed at my boyfriends for a few hours and when I came home at about 1:30 a.m. I tried to fall asleep. As I was drifting off they came home and began to run around their apartment with their clickity-clackity heels and clomping feet. Every time I came close to falling asleep I heard either a crashing sound or a giggling, immature, little girl scream. But I tried to be the bigger person, I didn’t bang on their ceiling with the broomstick, I just let it go and tried to sleep. Then this morning I got woken up while they were moving their furniture back and forth back and forth. So after a few hours of listening to this noise I decided to retaliate. I took the broomstick and banged on the ceiling every time I heard a noise. And I was smart, I went exactly to where I heard the noise. Then these freakishly skinny, but crazy loud girls jump on the floor as if to say, “We don’t care what bothers you, we are gonna do what we want!” I just cannot believe that even with this seven day notice on their door they are going to be as loud as they can be…its just aweful! Wish me luck, again!
